About
I am not a “race” fan, and this is not a “racing” website.
I’m an open wheel race fan, and this is an open wheel site.
Be it running the cushion in a sprinter at Knoxville, to 30 laps around the Belleville High Banks in a midget. From running a hundred miles in a Silver Crown at the Indy Mile, or Three-wide into turn 1 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Memorial Day weekend, no other forms of motorsports can top the excitement and tradition of American open wheel racing.
I started OO back in January 2007 with the simple idea of writing about the races I attend during the season. I will present my take on the action, as well as provide commentary on related topics.
If you think the best form of racing comes without fenders, this is your site. Welcome to the new Oval Operations!
